How to join us
You are welcome to contact me if you are interested in joining the laboratory. According to the 2017 U.S. News and World Report, Purdue ranks 6th in Civil Engineering and 18th in Environmental and Ecological Engineering in graduate program national rankings, and Purdue’s College of Engineering has been consistently ranked as one of the top ten engineering schools in the US. According to the 2016 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), Purdue’s Civil Engineering is ranked first in the world.
Undergraduate Students: Undergraduate students are always welcome to join us as part-time research assistants.
Graduate Students: Graduate students are also welcome to join the lab. Typically it takes about two years to finish a master thesis and four years to finish a Ph.D. dissertation. Post-Docs/Research Engineers: Applicants with experience on molecular microbiology, environmental microbiology, or environmental engineering are especially encouraged, and the available positions are subject to availability of funds.
